Uwe Bohm was known as a villain in the crime scene, from films such as Fatih Akin 's literary adaptation "Tschick" and from the stage, for example from the Hamburg theater. According to his family, director Hark Bohm's adoptive son, born Uwe Grossmann on January 24, 1962, "died suddenly and unexpectedly," his wife Ninon Bohm wrote in an email on Saturday.

Uwe Bohm played in Hark Bohm's cult film "Nordsee ist Mordsee" as a teenager in 1976. During the casting for the TV production “Ich kann auch 'ne Arche bauen”, Hark Bohm discovered Uwe, who was eleven at the time, in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg and promptly hired him.
