Alexandra Yakovleva was born in 1957 in Kaliningrad. Her real name is Ivanes, she took a pseudonym from the name of her grandfather. In 1978 she graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK). She retired from cinema in 1993.
The greatest popularity was brought to her by her work in the films “The Crew”, “Magicians” and “The Man from the Boulevard des Capucines”.
In 1993-1997, Yakovleva was engaged in social work, holding the positions of chairman of the committee on culture and tourism of the city of Kaliningrad, deputy mayor of Kaliningrad.
She headed the service for quality management and personnel at the Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg, held the position of deputy head of the Oktyabrskaya Railway for quality management and marketing.
On June 7, 2012, she was elected chairman of the Kaliningrad regional branch of the Russian political party Yabloko.
In April 2016, Alexandra Yakovleva announced that she had returned to the acting profession. She played one of the main roles in the play “Oscar” of the St. Petersburg Small Comedy Theater.
