WHO IS IRFAN ATASOY

İrfan Atasoy was born on February 3, 1

937 in Adana. He entered the cinema as a screenwriter. His first script captured was Hero Üçler (1961), which he wrote when he was only twenty years old. He wrote screenplays for films such as The Enemy Among Us (1964), Own Fallen Crying (1969) and Zalim (1973). He started producing in 1967 with the film İnce Cumali and starred the same year in the film Klink Istanbul. He then acted in films such as I Die A Thousand Times (1969), King of Trouble (1971), Five Scoundrels (1971), Black Executioner (1971), Susuz Summer (1973), Shoot Where You Can See (1975). ), Hamal (1976) and made these films. made. Atasoy, who also sat in the director’s chair in the following years, shot the films Sütü Bozuk (1976) and My Erkegim (1977). He moved away from cinema in 1978 and focused more on film import and cinema management. Finally, he was awarded the Lifetime Honor Award from the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival in 2005.
