Through their social media account, the Mexican National Association of Interpreters (ANDI), released the news of the unfortunate death of Mexican actor Xavier Marc. Supposedly, the actor would have attempted to take his own life, a version that is already being investigated by the corresponding authorities.

“To his family and friends, we send our deepest condolences from the ANDI Board of Directors and Surveillance Committee,” the association said in its statement.

Xavier Mark died at 74 years of age; he was originally from Guadalajara, state of Jalisco, Mexico. In addition to being a film and television actor, he also served as a director and teacher.

He had an extensive career on television; His most outstanding performances were in the melodramas “Amor sin maquillaje”, “Barrera de amor”, “Barata de primavera”, “María Belén”, “El alma no tiene color, “El niño que vino del mar” and others, he was married to Claudia Obregón, with whom he had a son named Julio César.

“A great actor and a wonderful person. RIP”, expressed the actress Arlette Pacheco, in the publication shared by the National Association of Interpreters.

It should be remembered that the Xavier Marc’s last appearance in a Mexican soap opera was in the story “La mexicana y el güero” starring Itatí Cantoral and Juan Soler, where he played the character of Tulio “Malacara”.

According to TVyNovelas magazine, some witnesses indicate that the actor would have thrown himself from the balcony of his apartment on a sixth floor in Mexico City. Likewise, it is said that his body was found on the terrace. The Attorney General’s Office has begun an investigation. Apparently, a letter was found at the scene.

The actress and singer Laura Zapata stated the following on her Twitter account: “Xavier Marc ended his life, he was very ill, he left a letter that said: ‘we will still be with God'”.
