Marshall Napier, a famous actor, playwright and graphic artist originally from New Zealand and a long-time resident in Australia, passed away at the age of 70.

To give the sad news was the daughter Jessica, also an actress, with a post on social media: “With great sadness I share the death of my beautiful father Marshall Napier. After a short and intense battle with brain cancer he left us this morning. He was quiet and surrounded by family. Dad you are unique and I can't even imagine what the world will be like without you. Your charisma and charm were second to none. Your creativity and intellect have been my inspiration. I love you so much and I feel completely lost without you. I am happy that you can fly free of pain and confusion”.

Marshall Napier during his career has been transversally protagonist in the theater of shows such as Marat / Sade, The Duchess of Malfi, Waiting for Godot, Simpatico, A View from the Bridge, The Power of yes, The Present, he starred in films such as Down Under, I Love you too, The devils run, The water horse, Traveling light, City of Ghosts, Bad Eggs, Black and White, Griff The Invisible, took part in famous TV series such as Blue Murder, All Saints, Love Child S2, The Moodys, Jack Irish: Bad Debts and for six seasons he was in the cast of the drama McLeod's Daughters playing the role of Harry Ryan.
