Biagio Proietti , historic screenwriter and director of films for cinema, but above all of famous for his Rai dramas, passed away this morning in Rome at the age of 81 .
To communicate the news from the Facebook profile of Proietti himself was his family: "Dear all, not being able to notify you personally, we do it in this way to try to reach all the people who loved Biagio. Who knew him personally and who only through his pages, his words, his images. unfortunately this morning Biagio left us".
The artistic career
Author, director, screenwriter and writer, Proietti was born in Rome in 1940. He wrote several screenplays for the big screen: 'Fai in fretta a uccidermi ho freddo, by Citto Maselli, 'La morte risale a ieri sera' by Duccio Tessari , 'The Black Cat' by Lucio Fulci, 'L'assassino ha riservato nove poltrone' by Giuseppe Bennati.
In 1970 he inaugurated the season of the great Rai television thrillers, writing 'Coralba', 'Come un uragano’, 'Lungo il fiume e sull'acqua', ‘Un certo Harry Brent’, Ho incontrato un'ombra', and the miniseries 'Philo Vance', the investigator brought to the small screen by Giorgio Albertazzi. Especially author of 'Dov'è Anna?' scripted a record audience in 1976 with 28 million viewers in the final episode. Also for TV he wrote 'Racconti fantastici' by Edgar Allan Poe, Madame Bovary, and two cult series of mystery stories 'Il filo e il labirinto’ e 'Il fascino dell'insolito'.
He also worked for the radio, for which he wrote and directed Raymond Chandler's 'Il lungo addio' e 'Aspetterò' and 'Tua per sempre', The Long Goodbye', 'Claudia' and 'Così è' in collaboration with wife Diana Crispo .
