At the age of 90, Montserrat Carulla i Ventura has passed away. The Barcelona actress participated in a wide repertoire of plays, television series and films.
Among them are GUYS AND DOLLS in 1998 and LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC in 2001, together with her daughter Vicky Peña; both productions directed by Mario Gas.
On television, she was seen in series such as HOSPITAL CENTRAL or SÉ QUIÉN ERES, more recently.
Finally, in the SURCOS cinema it was the first production that featured her in 1951, with BARCELONA, WINTER NIGHT in 2015 being the last film in which she would participate. It is worth highlighting his presence in EL ORFANATO under the direction of Juan Antonio Bayona.
Her talent and hard work was recognized repeatedly, receiving, among others, the Gold Medal for artistic merit in 1999 and the Gaudí Award of Honor in 2013.
