Türker İnanoğlu lost his life 

Producer and film director Türker İnanoğlu died in the hospital where he was taken after a sudden illness.

The announcement was made by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, social media He did it from his account.

In his post, Koca said, "Producer and film director Türker İnanoğlu, one of the famous names of our art world, died after he could not be saved despite the interventions made in the hospital where he was taken after his sudden illness. I wish him God's mercy and condolences to his relatives. As his loved ones, our pain is great."

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Ersoy also made a statement on his social media account regarding the death of İnanoğlu, the famous producer, director and entrepreneur who made important films in Turkish cinema, "It is with great sadness that I learned the news of the death of Türker İnanoğlu, the doyen of Turkish cinema, director, screenwriter, producer and winner of the Presidential Culture and Arts Grand Award."

Minister Ersoy said, "God's mercy on the deceased; I would like to express my condolences to his family and our entire art community."

İnanoğlu will be sent off on his last journey on April 4

A ceremony will be held for İnanoğlu on April 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Tim Show Center. Then, following the noon call to prayer, the funeral prayer will be held at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque.

İnanoğlu, who made important films in Turkish cinema, will be buried in the family cemetery in Kanlıca after the funeral prayer.

Turker Inanoglu

Born in Karabük in 1936, Türker İnanoğlu entered the field of cinema as an assistant director in 1957 while he was a student at the School of Applied Fine Arts.

İnanoğlu, who worked as an assistant to famous directors such as Ömer Lütfi Akad and Nişan Hançer, started directing in 1959 with the movie "Senden Separate Yasam".

In 1960, İnanoğlu founded his own film production company called Erler Film.

It broke new ground in the history of Turkish television

İnanoğlu, who produced and directed many films in a short time, introduced video to Turkey by establishing Milli Video Film Inc. in 1979 and broke new ground by starting the distribution of video cassettes for the first time in Turkey.

Later, in 1985, İnanoğlu established a television studio called National Radio and Television, where he made many television productions.

The television program "İcraat İçinden", initiated by İnanoğlu on TRT, has gained an important place in Turkish political history and television broadcasting. The prime minister of the time, Turgut Özal, appeared on this program once a month and explained the government's actions to the public.

İnanoğlu, who also left his mark on the period when private television channels began, founded ATV, one of Turkey's first private television channels, in 1994.

İnanoğlu, who owns Atlas Cinema in Beyoğlu, Kent Cinema in Şişli and Boğaziçi Cinema in Kavacık, opened Türker İnanoğlu Maslak Show Center (TİM) in 2005.

Throughout his career, İnanoğlu produced 84 films and TV series and directed 71 of these productions.

İnanoğlu, who has made many memorable Yeşilçam films, has recently produced the series "Cennet Mahallesi", "Arka Sokak" and "Akasya Durağı", which left their mark on Turkish television.
