Everyone at Dancing Feet Academy is very saddened by the news of the passing of the incredible Mr Nigel Brooks.

Nigel Brooks was a legend within the Music & Musical Theatre industry - working with some of the industry’s finest and more recently was announced in Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours list……… awarded the honour of the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) for service to the Musical Theatre and Music Industry.

Nigel’s career was mind-blowing and at DFA we were very honoured when he joined our family to teach our Musical Theatre classes over 15 years ago! Nigel has helped students (including Miss Natasha) to achieve their dreams, attend professional musical theatre colleges around the UK and successfully obtain professional performing contracts throughout the Musical Theatre Industry.

Over more recent years, as a consultant for DFA, Nigel was still very much part of the DFA family and along with his partner Carole attended lots of our in person and online events.

Miss Nadine & Miss Natasha would regularly visit Nigel & Carole and enjoy a good catch up about life at DFA. Nigel was a huge supporter of the DFA family- always with pearls of wisdom to share and only one month ago Nadine & Natasha asked Nigel if he would do us the great honour of becoming the second Patron of Dancing Feet Academy….. of which he graciously accepted.

Nigel was the most inspirational man and it has always been an honour that our paths crossed and Nadine, Natasha and everyone at DFA have had the opportunity to work together and enjoy his friendship.

He has touched many people’s hearts and left behind a legacy that will be spoken about for years to come.

Our deepest love and thoughts go out to his partner Carole at this difficult time.

Our upcoming show ‘Premiere’ is now dedicated to the one and only Mr. Nigel Brooks (B.E.M.)
