ADRIA (Rovigo) - Renato Cecchetto is dead. At the age of 70, the actor and voice actor
from Adri (a native of Baricetta) leaves behind a wife and a child. This
was announced in the late evening of Sunday January 23RD by the mayor of Adria Omar Barbierato.
"I have just learned of the death of Renato Cecchetto. News that leaves
dismay and pain". Explains the mayor saddened by the death of Renato
Cecchetto; a well-known person, not only in Adria, but throughout Italy.
"I
express my personal condolences and that of the whole Adriese community that I
represent, to Renato's family, his wife Miriam, his son, his sister and all who
were close to him.
Renato was linked to his Adria, to his Baricetta, where he had lived
with his family until the age of twenty, and then continued his studies at the
National Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio d'Amico" in Rome and
embarked on the career as an actor in theater, cinema and even a voice actor
".
In
conclusion: "An important career for Renato Cecchetto, characterized by
significant satisfactions and awards, but always with his Adria in his heart. He
himself said it on the occasion of the delivery of the “grateful Adria” award that
I gave him on 29 August 2019 in a ceremony organized in the council room
".
