actor Shuichiro Moriyama, known for the voice of Porco Rosso in
the movie "Porco Rosso" , died at a hospital in Saitama
Prefecture at 9:10 pm on the 8th due to pneumonia. I found out by interviewing
the place. 86 years old. The funeral is a family funeral.
Moriyama was born on July 26, 1934 in Nagoya. As
an actor, he has appeared in NHK's serial TV novel "Ale" and the
taiga drama "Tokugawa Yoshinobu". He also played a wide range of
roles, including the role of Porco Rosso, the main character of the Ghibli
movie "Porco Rosso," dubbing "Kojak," and narrating the TV
Asahi drama "TRICK."
The agency commented, "I have been
indebted to everyone for a long time during my 63 years of performing arts. I
would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart
and I would like to express my sincere gratitude here."
