Sorrentino was president of the A.D.I.R. - Italian Gathered Voice Actors Association and advisor for Cinema and Entertainment of the Minister for Cultural Heritage and Activities.

Brother of the voice actress Liliana Sorrentino, he was born in Rome on 18 July 1945 and had started his voice dubbing actor as a child.

How to forget the irresistible Ryan O'Neal in Love Story. Many more: he also voiced Jeff Bridges, Geoffrey Rush, Gérard Depardieu, Daniel Day-Lewis and Russell Crowe.

In the seventies he was Mickey Mouse, in the eighties he was in the team of hosts of the Rai2 Tandem program, with Fabrizio Frizzi.

Then author and host between 1995 and 2000 of the radio broadcast "The Sounds of Cinema", linked to his world of film dubbing.
