RIP James Dixon

March 6, 1937 - February 5, 2024 Born and raised in Bronx "Throgs Neck" New York. Third son of Irish immigrants John and Brigid Dixon. James and his beautiful wife Margaret Mary (Gibney) Dixon were married in 1965 and immediately set off for Hollywood, California. James worked as an actor, appearing in Tora, Tora, Tora; Black Caesar; It's Alive; Salem's Lot; Love American Style; etc. He wrote several screenplays including Your Three Minutes Are Up, Fast Getaway, and Sara. James and Margaret were devoted to their three children, Jamie, Julie, and Maggie. James was also the proud grandfather of James, Henry, Jack, and Shannon. James and Margaret lived in Studio City for over 55 years and leave behind many dear friends and neighbors. James was known for his friendly smile, inquisitive nature, and love of all sports, especially college basketball.
