Queta Lavat embarked on her artistic journey in 1945 with radio soap operas and made her first on-screen appearance in the film ‘Las colegialas’ in 1946. Over her career spanning seven decades, she shared the screen with icons like Pedro Infante and Silvia Pinal, and featured in acclaimed films including ‘Dos tipos de cuidado’ (1953) and ‘El derecho de nacer’ (1952).
Her prowess wasn’t limited to the silver screen. Lavat also had a commendable television career, with her debut in the telenovela ‘Un paso al abismo’ in 1958. She continued to captivate audiences in popular telenovelas like ‘Rosalina’ (1999) and ‘La usurpadora’ (2019).
