This Wednesday, November 1, the death of actress Adriana Laffan Lara, who was a leading actress in telenovelas and unitary programs on Televisa, was confirmed.

The news was announced by the National Association of Actors (ANDA) on its Twitter account. Without delving into details, the organization sent its condolences to the relatives of the actress who died at the age of 63, according to Wikipedia, and participated in remembered soap operas such as Carousel, Destilando amor and Soy tu dueña.

"The National Screen Actors Association is deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague Adriana Laffan, a member of our union. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace."

Where did Adriana Laffan perform?

Adriana Laffan was born on September 4, 1960 and studied acting at the National Institute of Fine Arts, and also developed her artistic skills at the Televisa Acting Training Center (CEA).

She gained international recognition for giving life to the psychopath "Betsy Corcuera" in the telenovela La sombra del otro in 1996 and participated in films such as Un mundo raro and Cuartelazo.

The actress participated in programs such as Cachún, cachún ra ra, Mujer casos de la vida real, Mujeres asesinas, Como dice el dicho, and La Rosa de Guadalupe.

She acted in more than 17 telenovelas, including El hogar que yo robé, Alegrijes y rebujos, Cómplices al rescate and Clase 406. Her last participation on the Televisa screen was in 2013 with the character of "Begoña Domínguez" in the melodrama Porque el amor manda.

She is survived by his children María José and Emiliano, whom she co-created with fellow actor Jesús Arriaga.

After her participation in 2014 in Señora Acero, on Telemundo, in 2015 she participated in the reunion that the actors of Carrusel had, since she gave life to "Luisa de Palillo", the mother of the child "Jaime Palillo" in the 1989 telenovela.
