RIP Damu Roland

Damu Roland died at dawn on the day of December 27, Blikk writes . The newspaper's family of the actor also confirmed the news. Damu was admitted to the intensive care unit because of a coronavirus infection because he could no longer breathe from the cough. So far he had been kept in deep anesthesia, his lungs breathing.

The actor first appeared in school plays in theater. He later performed at the Budapest Chamber Theater, the Csokonai Theater in Debrecen and the Szigliget Theater in Szolnok, among others. He has also starred in more than 150 films and series. His most famous role in the series ‘Good for Bad’ is the character of predecessor Várnagy. He was also featured on TV shows like ‘Hal a tortán vagy’ or ‘Mr. es Mrs’.

On March 20, 2012, Tímea Palácsik (later Tímea Vajna) was sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison for rape. He began serving his sentence in April 2012 and completed it in April 2015.
