Spring edition
American film and TV actress Lizabeth Hush died on February 19, 2021. Born Barbara Hush, was active in films from 1960 to 1973. In the mid- 1970s she filed complaints against the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and employers in the motion picture industry for sex discrimination against women. Hush married to Sam Gilman in 1962 and the couple adopted Marlon Brando’s son Michael G. Gilman in 1967. She went on to serve on SAG's Statistical Sub-Committee of the Women's Conference Committee. Her passing was noted in memoriam section of the Spring edition of the SAG/AFTRA magazine.
