The world of soap operas and shows is in mourning, since this Sunday, November 7, the death of the emblematic actor Enrique Rocha was announced.
The 81-year-old artist, who would have died of natural causes, will always be remembered for his villainous roles.
Enrique Miguel Rocha Ruíz was born in Silao, Guanajuato on January 5, 1940.
The news was confirmed by Óscar Espejel , an employee of the actor, who shared some details.
One of the first people to react to the news was producer Reynaldo López.
"Tremendous loss for the entertainment world, a legend my dear and admired Enrique Rocha, God bless the good" Rochón ". We are going to miss him. RIP," he wrote on his Twitter account.
Another celebrity who regretted the fact was the popular journalist Paty Chapoy, who shared information about it through her social networks.
"I regret to inform that the actor #EnriqueRocha passed away, at the age of 81. Sad news in the entertainment world. RIP," he wrote
His peculiar deep voice and great charisma made the public recognize him over the years. Rocha started his career in 1965 with the soap opera "La Mentira".
Among the projects in which he participated as an antagonist are "Serafin", "Toy World", "The privilege of loving", "Rebelde", "Lola, once upon a time", "I plead guilty", among others.
He was nominated 11 times at the TVyNovelas Awards and got it five times, most of them for his villain roles.
In 1989 he won it for his role in the novel "Pasión y Poder"; in 1991 with the novel "I buy that woman"; in 1994 for "Two women, one way"; in 1999 for his performance in "El privilegio de amar" and in 2003 with "Las vias del amor".
Similarly, he received the El Heraldo de México Award for his role as a villain in "Las vias del amor." He also ventured into the world of dubbing in the Disney movie "The Jungle Book", bringing Bagheera to life.
