Gianni Nazzaro, singer and actor famous in the 1970s for songs like Quanto è bella lei, and performed 6 times on the stage of the Sanremo Festival, has died.
The singer and actor Gianni Nazzaro, who with his romantic songs marked a trait of pop music of the 1970s, among which hits is Quanto è bella lei, died today at the Gemelli polyclinic in Rome, following a tumor in the lungs, at the age of 72.
The news of his disappearance was given to Adnkronos by his partner, Nada Ovcina. He was born as Giovanni Nazzaro in Naples on 27 October 1948 and participated in the Sanremo Festival 6 times between 1970 and 1994, on the latter occasion with the Italian team. He has also participated in some “musicarelli” films, from Ma che musica maestro and Venga a fare il soldato da noi.
