A great loss was made known to InsideEko. As friends and families of the deceased are mourning the passing of their loved and cherished Katsuhisa Hattori.

The legendary musician Katsuhisa Hattori, active since the start of television in Japan, has sadly passed away.

We have learned of the death of composer Katsuhisa Hattori at the age of 83. Composer of classical and francophile music, he had composed animated music such as Tom Sawyer, Remi sans famille, Flo and the Swiss Robinson, or the film Hokuto no Ken (1986).
