Mexican actor Héctor Ortega dies at 81

This June 3 in the afternoon, it was reported through the Twitter account of @ andactores, that the Mexican actor  Héctor  Ortega  died at the age of 81.

In addition, several colleagues and theater and television actors released the news of his death and expressed their sadness at the loss of the actor.

Héctor Ortega Gómez born in Mexico City on January 12, 1939, his career spanned film, theater and television and included his participation in various projects as a director and screenwriter.

He appeared in more than 40 films, such as Thow, The Legend of a Mask, Santa Sangre and The Sacred Mountain -of Alejandro Jodorowsky-, The Barefoot Eagle and Calzóncin Inspector -ded by Alfonso Arau-, The Corner of the Virgins and Not You, It's Me, and worked by the hand of great directors such as Ignacio retes y Alfonso Arau The performer participated in more than twenty soap operas and series and a lot of theatrical works that he also disseminated to popular audiences as a work of promoting culture.

Studied at the Teatro Estudio and the Centro Universitario de Teatro of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, took the theater to prisons, schools and ejidos through outreach projects such as the National Popular With works such as The Principality. In the last productions in which she participated were The daughter of the cannibal and the soap operas Hijas de la luna, Por Ella soy Eva, Simply Maria, The Privilege of Love and Alegrijes and Rebukes.
