The singer Dora María Pérez Vidal, known simply as Dora María, died, although so far the causes of her death are unknown.
The singer was 89 years old at the time of her death.
He was born in Tamulté de las Barracas and from a very young age began to win singing competitions.
She was the first Mexican singer to perform in Las Vegas as well as in the famous "Lido" in Paris.
Currently the Tabasco Park bears her name, after she was honored in life in the six-year term of former governor Arturo Núñez.
Throughout her career she performed songs such as: "El pochitoque jahuactero", "Mis Blancas Mariposas" and Amanecer de mi Tierra.
In life she had the opportunity to sing with the singer-songwriter Juan Gabriel and appear in the program "Siempre en Domingo" with Raúl Velasco.
