Dario Penne's career
Versatile actor, Dario Penne between the 80s and 90s has dubbed characters very different from each other, quickly becoming the official voice of many important protagonists of world cinema.
In 1989 he voiced Christopher Lloyd in the role of Doc in the sequel to the famous 1985 cult Back to the Future; the result was convincing aces, Penne continued to voice Lloyd even in the third film of the saga and became the official voice of the actor in other films such as Who framed Roger Rabbit?, Pagemaster, Dennis the threat and many others.
In the nineties Penne became the voice of other stars such as Tommy Lee Jones, Michael Caine, Clint Eastwood, Ben Kingsley and Michael Douglas. But it is above all in 1991 that he doubles the most important and famous role of his career: Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the film The Silence of the Lambs. In the film, Penne pounds his voice, made of nuances and ambiguities, to the excellent interpretation of Anthony Hopkins in the role of the most famous cannibal doctor in the history of cinema.
