The actor Felix Casas,
remembered mainly for his role as Captain Tan in the Spanish Television series Los Chiripitiflauticos died Thursday January 23, 2020 due to natural causes at the age of 89 at his home in
Madrid. This has
been confirmed by his granddaughter Sonia Arcos, who has indicated that the
funeral of her grandfather, who is in the South Tanatorio de Madrid
(Carabanchel), will be held in family intimacy.
The actor, who was born on June 8, 1930, became very popular in the late sixties
and early seventies in the Los Chiripitifláuticos program with Valentina, Uncle Aquiles, Locomotoro and the Malasombra brothers. "In my
travels throughout the length and breadth of this world" was his
best-known phrase, with which he began his stories played with a jungle hat and
a striped shirt.
