June 14, 2021 Dexter G. DuPont, loving father of Christian J. DuPont and Cherie L. (DuPont) Crouse, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed at the age of 85 in Spokane, WA. Dexter was born on June 15, 1935, in Green Bay, WI to Harry J. and Harriet J. (Jubert) DuPont. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1954. He was a drama student under the direction of Father Guyon. He was also involved in summer stock at the Peninsula Players in Wisconsin. He and three other students had their own radio program, called "Teen Time." He also played football as a quarterback during high school. Dexter had two scholarships offered to him after graduation, Northwestern to play football and Goodman Memorial Theater, he chose Goodman and graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts. He wanted to do film and went on to Hollywood to continue his love for acting in 1958. His first short film was Sugar Foot with Will Hutchins. Twilight Zone, episode "The Hunt" as an angel with Arthur Honeycutt, The Daltons and Empire with Richard Egan, Terry Moore and Ryan O'Neal, and voice overs. He also taught a drama class in Hollywood. He later was awarded top salesman at Glendale Cadillac Dealership, and then went on to Real Estate in Southern California. Dexter was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
