Álvaro Carcaño, a Mexican television, radio and dubbing actor, died on Thursday, the National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) reported on social networks.
Carcaño is recognized for his participation in the children's program "Odyssey Bubbles", as well as for having been the voice of the Ant in "The Pink Panther Show", among other cartoons.
So far the causes of his death are unknown.
Álvaro de Jesús Carcaño Ricalde was born on March 29, 1946 in Mexico City.
He participated in the famous children's program "Odyssey Bubbles" directed by Enrique Segoviano during the 70s and early 80s, where he played various characters such as Professor Memelovsky, Mimoso Ratón, Mafafa Musguito or Pistachón.

He was also a voice actor for 25 years. He lent his voice to the Ant in "The Pink Panther Show", Torombolo's "Archie and Friends", in "Looney Tunes" and "The Inspector", among others.
After his retirement from dubbing, since 2010 he lived in Mérida, Yucatán, where he died today.
